Information and Communication Technologies
Each classroom in the school is equipped with an interactive whiteboard in addition to a standard whiteboard. Staff are trained in the effective use of interactive boards to optimise learning in the classroom. Children use computers as part of the daily classroom across the full range of subjects.
The school promotes the use of ICT so that pupils are comfortable with the use of keyboard and mouse. Given the strong skills of the school staff in Audio-Visual production we will aim to develop a focus on these skills to help students interact with the curriculum in an exciting way.
We will use digital video, digital editing software and digital audio recording to promote drama and programme making to develop children's oral language skills.
